Best in the Rogue Valley? Come argue with us.
We're not going to tell you we're the best wine tasting room in the Rogue Valley. That's your call. What we'll tell you: we're in the actual cellar at 322 N Pioneer St in Ashland — barrels in the corner, winemaker usually nearby, wines poured by people who know what's in them. No entry fee. No forced flight structure. Walk-in welcome.
Small-lot means the wines change. Syrah, Malbec, Tempranillo, Cab Sauv, Sauv Blanc, Rosé, and whatever else we felt strongly about last vintage. Come on a Thursday and it might be different by Sunday. That's the point.
A tasting usually runs 30–90 minutes depending on how deep the conversation gets. Groups are welcome — we've done birthday parties, team dinners, and wine-curious book clubs. If you want the space to yourself, we do private events. If you just want a glass and some peace, that works too.
Quick answers.
- Is there a tasting fee at Resistance Wine Company?
- No entry or tasting fee. You pay by the glass or bottle. Show up, see what's pouring, decide from there.
- What's the group size limit for the tasting room?
- Walk-in groups up to 6–8 are generally fine. Larger groups should reach out ahead of time so we can set up space properly.
- How long does a wine tasting usually take?
- Anywhere from 30 minutes to two hours, depending on how interesting the conversation gets. No rush.
