Rogue Valley · Oregon

Wines we couldn't find anywhere else.

Small-lot reds, whites, and rosé from the Rogue Valley. We pour what we'd want to drink — sometimes that's tempranillo, sometimes that's an argument.

Four Resistance SKUs — Sauvignon Blanc, Collab, Malbec, and Rosé — lined up on a draped event table with crudité and string lights.

Why we're here

Stepping off the treadmill.

Resistance Wine Co. tasting room
Tasting room · Ashland

Kimberly caught the wine bug while living in Chile as a college student. She carried it back to Washington, D.C., where she met Kirk — and through tastings, travel, and unforgettable trips to Tuscany, Chile, and Napa, the obsession took root.

In 2016, we left the East Coast for the Rogue Valley with three young children. In 2024, we opened the downtown Ashland tasting room. After UC Davis chemistry and a crash course in plumbing, Kimberly returned to winemaking — this time on her own terms.

Low-intervention. People over machines. Each vintage allowed to speak for itself.

Frequently asked

Things you forget to think about before you go wine tasting.

  • Do I need a reservation?

Reservations are always appreciated! Walk-ins are welcome Thursday–Saturday from 2–7 pm and Sunday 2–6 pm.

  • What are your hours?

    Thursday 2–7 pm · Friday 2–7 pm (Wood-Fired Pies & Vines) · Saturday 2–7 pm · Sunday 2–6 pm.

  • Can I bring my kids?

Sure, as long as they don't use the barrels as bongos. We're family-friendly.

  • Are dogs allowed?

Yes, if they're cool. If your dog's nicer than most humans — perfect. If not, maybe let them guard the couch instead.

  • What kind of wine do you make?

Syrah, Malbec, Cab Sauv, Tempranillo, Sauvy B, Chenin Blanc, Rosé, and whatever other rebellious surprises we bottled last.

  • Do you ship wine?

We do ship wine! Except to those states that still think Prohibition was a good idea. (Looking at you, Utah.)

  • What is the deal with the name?

Because following the rules never made great wine — or great stories. Resistance is more than a label; it's a lifestyle.

  • Can I host my event here?

Heck ya! We love throwing parties. Birthdays, shows, divorces, board meetings — we don't judge. Just know the wine will upstage your PowerPoint.

  • What should I wear?

Whatever you can spill Syrah on without crying. Although, Lin usually has a Tide Stick in their bag for emergencies. Somm things.

One last thing

Don't drink alone. Read the letter.

A monthly note from Kim and Lin. Wines we're chasing, vintages we're worried about, the occasional ham-handed metaphor.
