Accessibility

Everyone gets a seat at the table.

What we do, what we haven't finished, and how to tell us when we've got it wrong.

Last updated August 29, 2026

We want this site to work for everyone who wants to drink our wine, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or voice control.

What we do

  • Semantic HTML, so assistive technology can make sense of the page structure.
  • Every interactive element reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus ring.
  • Text and background colours chosen to meet contrast minimums.
  • Alternative text on images that carry meaning.
  • Layouts that reflow rather than break when text is enlarged or the window is narrow.
  • Captions or transcripts on video where we publish it.

Where we stand

We build against WCAG 2.1 Level AA as our target. We have not had the site independently audited against it, so we are not claiming formal conformance — we would rather tell you the truth than put a badge on the page. Parts of the site embed third-party components, notably the Vinoshipper store, whose accessibility we do not control.

Found a barrier?

Tell us and we will fix it. Email info@resistancewineco.com, call (541) 708-1272, or use the contact form. Describing the page and what went wrong helps us get to it faster. We aim to respond within two business days.

If something on this site is stopping you from buying wine or booking a visit, say so and we will take your order or your booking directly — by phone, by email, whatever works.

The tasting room

Our Ashland tasting room is on the ground floor and step-free from the street. If you have questions about the space before you come, or need us to set something up, call ahead and we will make it work. Details and hours are on the visit page.
